Dr. Jeffrey "Jake"Baker
There was a time in America that we knew who we were and where we were going.
We knew where we had been.
We knew our heritage and history.
We understood the sacrifices that had been made to birth the American dream.
Our forefathers understood that liberty came with a price ...
They mutually pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor ... a debt that many of them would be required to pay before the end of that late war. But they prevailed ... they prevailed because when they pledged their sacred honor, they knew that meant pledging their all. Every fiber of who they were, everything they had, everything they had ever been and everything they could ever become.
This dream came at a high cost. Many of our founders gave their lives, homes, fortunes, sons and daughters, even wives that this dream would be birthed. This was to be a nation like no other, conceived in the womb of righteousness, born in the arms of adversity, but raised in the cradle of liberty. Through good times and bad, through fortune and lack, they kept the faith and they kept the dream alive for themselves and their posterity.
They left the flame of freedom burning brightly. But over the years, we let the flame abate, and the light began to dim. Ever so slowly and gradually the way became less clear and the fire continued to die, until today ... it is but a flicker in an ill wind.
We have lost our way. We have forgotten what we were and from whence we came. Putting the pieces back together to remake the picture of what America once was, will be difficult.
It’s a hard road to travel … but the journey starts with each of us … not collectively, but individually. A long, difficult journey begins and ends with a single step. But because we’ve lost our way, we need to go back to find out where we got off the path.
So, what did our Founding Fathers believe? When they gave us … America … what was it?.
To that end, we have prepared this FREE online web presentation ... "America Again!"
